Photo Essay
To Feel Safe
Who feels safe and who doesn't? What is real safety? What is real security? What is obsession with the feeling of security and what is actually keeping us safe?
These are the issues which will be addressed in my photo essay. (photos coming soon)
Images will show my true feelings about how ambiguous and pointless many security measures are as those who want to commit crimes and harm other people will. True security relies on the intelligence of the individual and the positions they put themselves into.
Child Poverty
I tried to make it more clear what the pictures were of by adding true color pictures to the bottom. Also i made the globe stand out more.
Open vs Closed source
Changes:
- I used quick lasso to cut people out
- Moved people behind some cubes
- Added pile of money
- Changed far background
- Changed lighting with custom selection
- Added cave
- Combined two logos
- Combined all negative images to oppose positive images
The comment I received was really constructive, despite being simple. I decided to combine all the negative images into one "slide" and leave the rest as positive images.
Cooperative Life Revision
Here is my revised version of my persuasive Cooperative Life photo essay...
Changes that were made include adding colored shadows to all the pictures. I also made the outer glow on the main text brighter and bigger. There is an addition of smaller single words to random areas around the piece with cool effects.
I hope this makes it more dimensional and interesting. Enjoy! :)
Big dogs > small dogs
Here's my visual essay. It's not much, but I'm still learning stuff with photoshop
American Culture
My topic for the photo essay covers some of the major issues facing America. Two of which being obesity and anorexia.
